Story: These images are a part of a project that I am working on currently titled "Sankofa (Go Back and Get it)" inspired by a desire to reconnect with my roots and better understand my Ghanaian culture and diasporic identity. Growing up between two worlds—the U.S. and Ghanaian culture—I’ve always felt a pull to explore the richness of my heritage and how it shapes who I am today.
