Story:

This is a photo of my grandfather, Omar A., during his pilgrimage to Mecca in 1995.

I like this photo very much because it represents the man he was, very pious. He embodied authority, wisdom, generosity and strength.

He left Morocco in 1965 to offer us a better life. I've always admired his courage and been grateful for his choices. That's what motivates me today.

He died in March 2019, and today I want to pay tribute to him and make sure he is remembered.
