Story:
The people in these images hold a special place in my heart, as they are part of my mom’s side of the family. As I grew up, I found myself drawn to my mom’s past, eager to learn about the lives of her and her parents. It’s a journey that takes me back to the mid-70s and 80s, allowing me to reflect on how their experiences compare to my life in 2025.

Diving into my grandmother’s photo boxes has been a cherished experience. Each picture tells a story—showing the fashion they embraced, capturing the smiles of my older cousins before I was even a thought, and revealing the warmth of family gatherings. With every glance at these treasured moments, I feel a deep connection to them, as if I’m right there with them, sharing in their joy and closeness.

These memories have taught me to truly appreciate the present moment and the people in my life. They remind me of the importance of nurturing those familial bonds, encouraging me to cherish my loved ones more than ever.
